Josh Bell Gives The Guardians Early Lead Over The Giants With Massive Home Run

Josh Bell hits a three-run home run against the San Francisco Giants.

The Cleveland Guardians and San Francisco Giants squared off on Thursday evening as each team gets dialed in for Opening Day which is now just a week away. With the first official game so close, it's great to see that a number of players are starting to dial it in. One of these players is Josh Bell who was huge against Giants pitching.

Bell got the scoring going early on against the Giants with a huge three-run home run. Give it a watch here:

This one was absolutely crushed! The ball ended up sailing over the stands in right field and bounced off the roof of one of the ballpark restaurants. My goodness!

This kicked off a scoring barrage for the Guardians as they'd go on to score double-digit runs by the end of the game.

Bell has had a respectable first Spring Training with the Guardians. He currently has a .216 batting average with a .486 SLG. This includes three home runs, eight hits, and nine RBI over the 14 games he's played in.

Cleveland signed Bell as a power threat to add to the lineup after they were one of the worst home-run-hitting teams in 2022. Even if Bell isn't batting .300 he'll offer protection to the high-contact batters that will be hitting in front and behind him in the order.
