The 93rd MLB All-Star Game is set to take place on July 11th in Seattle, home of the Mariners. The mid-summer classic is always a must-watch as the best of the best face each other and compete for bragging rights.

It will be fun and competitive, as always, and it gives fans a chance to witness their favorite players from either league. Fans play a big role in the All-Star voting, as they can choose who they want to see. However, unfortunately for Padre fans, they may not see any of their players represent the Padres in Seattle this season.

Arguably, the Padres' two biggest stars, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Juan Soto, just missed the cut to advance in the All-Star balloting.

Both Soto and Tatis miss the cut to advance in All-Star balloting, so is Blake Snell riding this wave the best chance the #Padres have to get a starter in next month's All-Star Game in Snell's hometown of Seattle?

Padres superstar Manny Machado also missed the cut, coming in third place among third base voting behind Nolan Arenado and Austin Riley.

Tatis Jr. has been great after a couple of weeks from his return, and for the past month or so, Soto has found himself and is playing like the superstar he is. Soto's place in the voting may have a ton to do with his slow start to the season, while Tatis' may have to do with his suspension, as opposing fans are booing and heckling him on the road.

No matter what it is, they won't start; however, don't count them out to be reserves. That dream still remains, and no one deserves it more than Soto and Fernando.

Friars southpaw Blake Snell is making a strong case to start for the NL team. He's pitching like the best pitcher in the game and deserves to be in the running. We'll see how things play out in the next coming weeks as we're less than three weeks away from the mid-summer classic.

One thing is for sure, more than one of San Diego's own deserves to be in the game.
