The Padres' trip to Wrigley Field has been eventful, and it all started on Tuesday night. The Friars are in Chicago to take on the Cubbies for a three-game series, and the crowd has not been too kind to San Diego, specifically, Padres superstar Fernando Tatis Jr

San Deigo dropped the first of three on Tuesday, 6-0, and even though they lost, that wasn't the story of the night. In the fifth inning of that game, the Padres were on defense, and with Tatis Jr. in right field, the Chicago fans let him hear it. The Cubs fans started chanting, "He's on steroids." The chants came after his impressive sliding catch, and the fans didn't like that web gem.

During the chants, Tatis Jr. started doing a little dance between pitches, letting everyone know it was not bothering him. He didn't let the hate bother him; however, MLB experts believe he's not built to fill those villainous shoes.

One of the experts believes he'll embrace the role because Fernando is so close to 14-time All-Star Alex Rodriguez. Rodriguez was known for his antics for his entire career on and off the field. He often had fans shaking their head like, "WTF is he doing/thinking?!?!"

In Fernando's short career, we have already witnessed those moments from him, so hopefully, the guy above isn't right. He has his whole career ahead of him and has a chance to be one of the best ball players ever.

Tatis Jr. was suspended for 80 games for using PEDs and returned last Thursday. His presence on the team has been significant, and he's seemed to gradually find his groove.

Keep your head down and just ball.
