In this story:

Back in December 2023, it was revealed that the Philadelphia Phillies would be ditching their red jerseys in exchange for one of Nike's new "City Connect" versions.

With the "4+1" rule in effect, they had to decide which of their previous looks they would drop.

After selecting the red colorway to be eliminated, many were wondering what the alternate style of jersey would look like.

There was some speculation out there that Nike would use blue and yellow, based on Philadelphia's city flag, to incorporate into this new look.

Well, it seems like the first images of what the Phillies' City Connect uniform might be leaked online after Paul Lukas of Uni Watch saw something on eBay and shared it.

If this is indeed the jersey, then the speculation about using blue and yellow as inspiration from the city's flag seems to have been accurate.

Blue would be the overarching color, with the Nike swoosh yellow and some yellow trim on the sleeves. The players' names would also be in yellow stitching on the back of the uniform, while the jersey number and "Philly" on the front would be white.

Nothing has been confirmed by the Phillies or Nike that this will be the official jersey in the rotation, but if that's the case, this is a clear deviation from the red that had been used before.

Philadelphia already has their throwback powder blues in the rotation, so adding another blue based uniform would certainly be an interesting choice.

Again, this is just something that was found on eBay and might not be the official City Connect version that Nike has come up with.

Stay tuned until something becomes official.
