Surging Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos hit two home runs against the Washington Nationals on Wednesday night and in doing so reached a career milestone.

Castellanos hit his 200th career home run in the third inning, a solo shot that put the Phillies up, 5-0, in a game they eventually won, 7-0.

He went opposite field to hit the milestone shot.

Earlier in the game, Castellanos hit a two-run home run in the first inning, part of an offensive run that gave the Phillies a 3-0 lead.

Castellanos is batting .277 this season with 19 home runs and 70 RBI. But, in July he was mired in an awful slump, as he batted .162 with four home runs and 11 RBI. But, a late-night batting practice session at his home in South Florida early last week, he’s been on fire.

In August, Castellanos is batting .316 with five home runs and 10 RBI.

Castellanos wasn’t the only player that made history on Wednesday.

Starting pitcher Michael Lorenzen threw his first career no-hitter, walking four and striking out five. He threw the team’s first no-hitter since Cole Hamels did it in 2015.

Also, rookie Weston Wilson hit a home run in his first at-bat and later stole a base. He became the first Phillies rookie to hit a home run and steal a base in their first MLB game. He also became the 13th player in MLB history to do it in the game’s modern era, starting in 1901.
