Fan voting awarded four Texas Rangers starting nods for the American League All-Star Team, as results were released Thursday.

Second baseman Marcus Semien, shortstop Corey Seager, catcher Jonah Heim and rookie third baseman Josh Jung will represent the Rangers in the All-Star Game, which will be July 11 in Seattle.

Jung, a serious candidate for Rookie of the Year, and Heim are each making their first All-Star appearance. Semien is going for the second time and this will be four selections for Seager.

The four starters is a Rangers franchise record.

Rangers outfielder Adolis García did not finish among the top three to earn a starting nod in the outfield. He received 13 percent of the vote.

The AL West-leading Rangers are obviously benefiting from their turnaround season. Texas is 49-32 at the halfway point – 98-win pace.

Voting for the team ended at 11 a.m. CT on Thursday. The pitching staff and the reserves will be announced next week.

Semien beat Toronto Blue Jays' Whit Merrifield with 65 percent of the vote at second base. Seager claimed 59 percent at short to best Toronto's Bo Bichette. Jung outlasted Toronto's Matt Chapman with 58 percent. And Heim nipped the Baltimore Orioles' Adley Rutschman with 52 percent.

García was the only Rangers player who made it into phase two voting that wasn’t selected to start. The outfielders ahead of García were the Los Angeles Angels' Mike Trout, Tampa Bay's Randy Arozarena and New York Yankees' Aaron Judge.

Tampa Bay's Yandy Díaz won the vote at first base. Shohei Ohtani of the Angels claimed the designated hitter spot after being the AL's leading vote-getter in the first round.
