Special Nolan Ryan Bobblehead Collectible Drops from FOCO

The Nolan Ryan Texas Rangers Sports Illustrated Cover Bobblehead recreates the Hall of Famer's famous pose on the magazine cover.

Nolan Ryan made a career out of making opposing knees wobble while on the mound.

Now, one of the most popular figures in Texas Rangers history – and a true state icon – is getting (another) bobble. FOCO launched the Nolan Ryan Texas Rangers Sports Illustrated Cover Bobblehead on Wednesday to commemorate one of the most famous covers in the magazine’s history.

The bobblehead features Ryan in the throwing pose he was in on his 1989 feature on the Sports Illustrated Magazine cover. He is positioned atop a Rangers themed base with his name in the front. Behind him is the retro Rangers logo and to his side is the scaled down recreation of the actual SI cover he was featured on.

The bobblehead is going to be limited to 100 units, retails for $100, and stands at eight inches tall.

Ryan won his 300th game and recorded his 5,000th strikeout during his first year with the Rangers in 1989. He was inducted in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.

FOCO has dropped a number of Rangers collectibles this season, including bobbleheads for Josh Jung, the team's All-Stars and the City Connect uniform collection. The latest Nolan Ryan bobblehead and other memorabilia can be found on the Rangers page at FOCO.com.
