It’s understandable to feel like Adolis García is off for a spell. The Texas Rangers right fielder is an imposing presence at the plate, so any perceived “slump” is magnified.

And when’s on, everyone notices that, too.

“Big day by Adolis,” manager Bruce Bochy said. “Four hits and to see him using the whole field … nice piece of hitting.”

García went 4-for-4 with a home run and three singles in Tuesday’s 6-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals at Globe Life Field. That makes a team-high three games this season with at least four hits for the All-Start candidate.

The rest of the Rangers have combined for two four-hit games.

García’s 15th homer, a solo shot leading off the fifth, snapped a long-ball drought that reached a season-long 15 straight games. At one point, he was leading the American League in home runs.

Still, García entered Tuesday averaging 15.93 at bats-per-home run, the best mark on the Rangers and fourth-best mark in the AL.

He’s hit safely in seven straight games beginning May 30, batting .467 (14-for-30) with two doubles, a homer and three RBI in that span. García enters Wednesday second in the AL with 52 RBI. (Marcus Semien, owner of a career-high 25-game hitting streak, is third with 50.)

The AL West-leading Rangers (40-20) are on a season-high five-game winning streak and in position to sweep the Cardinals on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. Jon Gray (6-1, 2.51) starts for Texas, with Jack Flaherty (3-4, 4.55) going for St. Louis.
