Texas Rangers ALCS Tickets: What You Need To Know For Globe Life Field Games Vs. Astros
Texas Rangers individual tickets for the ALCS against the Houston Astros at Globe Life Field go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
The Rangers host Games Nos. 3-5 of the best-of-7 series against the Astros. Game 3 is at 7:03 p.m. Wednesday, Game 4 is at 7:03 p.m. Thursday and Game 5, if necessary, is at 4:07 p.m. Oct. 20. The series returns to Houston for Game Nos. 6-7, if necessary.
The series begins at 7:15 p.m. Sunday at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
A limited number of scattered singles and standing-room-only tickets ALCS Games Nos. 3-5 at Globe Life Field will be available at texasrangers.com/postseason. All other reserved seats for the 2023 ALCS games at Globe Life Field have been sold.
The Rangers are in the ALCS for the first time since 2011, when they defeated the Detroit Tigers and reached the World Series for the second straight season.
The Astros are in the ALCS for the seventh straight season, which is a record for consecutive League Championship Series appearances. The Astros are the defending World Series champions and they have reached the World Series four times in the past six postseason, winning twice.
But, this is the first time that the Astros and Rangers will meet in the postseason. Before 2013, the Astros were in the National League and the only way the two teams could have played in the postseason was in the World Series.
The Astros won the regular-season series with the Rangers, 9-4. The Rangers went 3-3 at Minute Maid Park and 1-6 at Globe Life Field. The Rangers also lost seven of their final eight meetings with the Astros, including the last three.
