The entire World Series-winning coaching staff will return to the Texas Rangers in 2024.

The only change in the club's support staff is with the strength and conditioning team.

Jose Vazquez will move from his long-time role as head strength and conditioning coach into a special assistant role in the player development department. Vazquez has been the club's strength coach since 2006.

Vazquez's assistant Al Sandoval is transitioning to the head strength and conditioning coach at Triple-A Round Rock.

Logan Frandsen has been promoted to the Rangers' head strength and conditioning coach. He has been the club's assistant director of performance and minor league strength and conditioning coordinator. Round Rock strength and conditioning coach Wade Lamont has been promoted to Frandsen's assistant at the big league level.

"Jose has had just a remarkable impact on our organization," Rangers general manager Chris Young said. "We’re extremely grateful for all he’s done and excited for the next chapter in Jose’s career and the impact he’ll continue to make."

First-year manager Bruce Bochy and his staff helped lead the Rangers to their first World Series title.

"I know Boch was very pleased with the staff he inherited as he came in," Young said. "It's a very talented staff; they all did a tremendous job."
