Four Wizards players suspended over altercation against Bulls

Four Washington Wizards players -- Daniel Orton, DeJuan Blair, Nene and Xavier Silas -- have been suspended one regular season game for leaving the bench during an altercation involving Joakim Noah and Paul Pierce.

Four Washington Wizards players -- Daniel Orton, DeJuan Blair, Nene and Xavier Silas -- have been suspended one regular season game for leaving the bench during an altercation involving Joakim Noah and Paul Pierce.

In addition, Noah and Pierce have been fined $15,000. The altercation took place in the first quarter of an exhibition between the Wizards and Bulls at the United Center in Chicago on Monday night.

The four players will sit out the Wizards' season opener at Miami on Oct. 29.
