Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah left Wednesday's 105-99 loss against the Washington Wizards with a right ankle injury. The team announced that he would not return for the second half.
Noah's ankle is sprained, according to ESPN. The injury appeared to occur on the final play of the first half, after Noah had scored two points and grabbed three rebounds in 13 minutes of play.

Noah is averaging 7.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 blocks per game in 32 games this season. The 29-year-old has career averages of 9.8 points and 9.4 rebounds.
The Bulls next play the Celtics in Boston on Friday night.
