Pelicans' Anthony Davis has shoulder sprain, listed as day-to-day
New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis was diagnosed Sunday with a shoulder sprain and is listed day-to-day, the team announced.
Davis is questionable for the Pelicans' game against Utah on Monday night.
He sustained the injury Saturday night during the second quarter of a 35-point loss to the Chicago Bulls when he fell after an alley-oop dunk attempt.

Davis is fourth in the NBA in scoring, averaging 24.1 points per game, and leads the league in blocks with 2.74 per game.
Davis is slated to start for the Western Conference at the NBA All-Star Game in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Feb. 15. It is unclear if the injury will keep him out of action.
Two of his fellow Western Conference team starters, Blake Griffin and Kobe Bryant, will not play in the game due to injury.
