Bulls PG Derrick Rose out of lineup with hamstring injury

CHICAGO (AP) Bulls guard Derrick Rose is out of the starting lineup for the second straight game due to right hamstring tendinitis.

Rose got treatment before Friday night's matchup with the New York Knicks and was considered a game-time decision. But the Bulls announced shortly before tipoff that Kirk Hinrich would start instead of Rose.

Rose also missed Wednesday night's 102-100 overtime win against Indiana. The 2011 NBA MVP is averaging 14.4 points in 27 games this season.

Chicago center Joakim Noah missed his fifth straight game with a left shoulder sprain. Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said Noah is doing well and will be re-evaluated on Monday.
