Victor Wembanyama has only played three preseason games in a Spurs uniform but he’s already provided more than his share of highlights.

Wembanyama’s unique combination of size and skills makes him the most anticipated NBA prospect since LeBron James. Those are lofty expectations, but if his performance in these early exhibition games is any indication, he’ll at least give fans plenty to gawk at.

In Wednesday’s game against the Rockets, Wembanyama made a couple of incredible plays. On one, he made veteran Reggie Bullock look silly by dribbling the ball through the defender’s legs. On the other, he saved the ball from going out of bounds and made a ridiculous pass to an open Devin Vassell.

Fans loved it:

Wembanyama’s ability to spot Vassell open in the corner, control the ball and fire a backhanded pass while leaping and turning in the air is unbelievable. He made it look so easy, too. If only Vassell could have buried the shot to complete the play.

Wembanyama isn’t the first player to make a pass like that, but the athleticism to do it at 7'3" is what makes him really special. He’s going to be a human highlight reel this season.
