Warriors’ Steph Curry Drills Another Historic Three-Pointer vs. Nets

The Golden State Warriors star hit another historic milestone from beyond the arc on Saturday night.

Warriors star and NBA all-time three-point leader Steph Curry added another milestone to his elite resume Saturday night, as he swished the 3,500th three-pointer of his career.

Curry, who is widely regarded as the greatest shooter to ever live, hit the historic three-pointer in the first quarter of Golden State’s matchup against the Nets at Chase Center.

Curry curled around a screen at the top of the key and hit a patented fading three to his right hand side to eclipse the mark.

Curry’s 3,500th career triple comes almost exactly two years after he surpassed Ray Allen as the league’s all-time three-point king on Dec. 14, 2021.

While the Warriors are off to a 10–14 start to the season, the 35-year-old Curry remains as good as ever. He is shooting 46% from the floor this season and 41.3% from three-point land. He is also averaging 28.6 points per game through the first two months of the season, well above his career average.

Curry and the Warriors certainly need to begin playing better basketball as a team to reach their goal of a fifth NBA championship since the point guard joined the franchise 14 years ago, but for now, his shooting prowess remains a sight to behold.
