Warriors forward Draymond Green is poised to miss at least three more weeks of action while serving an indefinite suspension, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Green was suspended indefinitely by the NBA for striking Suns center Jusuf Nurkić in the face last week. Charania reported Monday that Green will be sidelined for at least another three weeks. This means fans won’t see Green return to the court until at least 2024. However, the ultimate length of the league-imposed suspension remains unknown.

Additionally, the 33-year-old forward has begun counseling that the NBA is requiring him to complete before he can be cleared to play.

ESPN’s Malika Andrews reported that Green “100% agreed” with the NBA’s decision to suspend him and require counseling in the wake of the incident.

The NBA came to the decision to suspend indefinitely based on “Green’s repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts,” according to a league statement.
