The Milwaukee Bucks target a season-tying high fifth-straight win when they host the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night.

The Bucks will be playing their fifth assignment of a six-game homestand. They started the homestand with four consecutive wins that pushed them to 14-2 when playing at the Fiserv Forum this season.

Milwaukee sealed its 13th-straight win at home when it defeated the Houston Rockets on Sunday night, 128-119.

Second-best in the East

With the Philadelphia Sixers losing to the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, 104-108, Milwaukee found itself at solo second place in Eastern Conference team standings with a 19-7 record.

The Bucks are just one and a half games behind the Boston Celtics, who are 20-5. The Spurs will come into the contest mired at the bottom of the Western Conference with a 4-21 record.

San Antonio snapped an 18-game slide when they won over the LA Lakers Friday night, 129-115, but immediately faltered in their next outing when it bowed down to the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night, 110-146. The Spurs are just 2-9 in away games this season.

Injury report

Tuesday night's match-up was supposed to be the first meeting of Giannis Antetokounmpo and top rookie Victor Wembanyama. Wembanyama, however, will not be playing against the Bucks due to right ankle soreness.

San Antonio's Charles Bassey is out for the remainder of the season due to an ACL tear.

Milwaukee will be without Malik Beasley (illness), TyTy Washington Jr. (ankle sprain), and Jae Crowder (left adductor surgery).
