GAMEDAY PREVIEW AND INJURY REPORT: The Milwaukee Bucks play their 2nd game in two nights, battle the streaking Houston Rockets
The Milwaukee Bucks look to get their mini-streak going when they take on the streaking Houston Rockets for the back end of a back-to-back on Sunday night. Milwaukee will be playing their fourth game of a six-game homestand.
The Bucks have gone 3-0 in their current homestand, beating the Chicago Bulls (133-129), the Indiana Pacers (140-126), and the Detroit Pistons (146-114). They have yet to lose since losing to the Pacers in the semifinal of the NBA In-Season Tournament.
The mini-streak enabled the Bucks to stay in second place in the Eastern Conference along with the Philadelphia Sixers. The two squads both hold an 18-7 record.
Milwaukee and Philadelphia are one and a half games behind the Eastern Conference-leading Boston Celtics, who are 19-5.
Doing a marvelous job at home
The Bucks have been simply outstanding when playing at home this season. They are 13-2 at the Fiserv Forum, where they won their last 12 games.
Milwaukee will go up against a Houston team that has become the league’s surprise package.
Houston is currently seventh in the tough Western Conference with 13 wins and nine losses.
The Rockets, however, have been struggling on the road, where they are just 2-8, although they are coming off a 103-96 win in Memphis.
The seven-point win in Memphis was Houston’s fifth-straight victory.
Injury report
Khris Middleton and Malik Beasley are day-to-day for the Bucks. Middleton (rest) and Beasley (illness) did not suit up in the Bucks’ victory against the Pistons on Saturday night.
Out for Milwaukee is Jae Crowder, who is still recovering from a left adductor surgery.
Jae’Sean Tate (illness) and Amen Thompson (illness) are both listed as questionable for the Rockets.
