Giannis Antetokounmpo added another franchise record to his resume, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most rebounds in franchise history, shattering the latter's previous record of 7,161. The "Greek Freak" has already carved out his name as one of the best players the Bucks have ever had, as he holds numerous franchise records like points scored, assists handed out, and shots swatted away, to mention a few.

However, one team record Giannis is now targeting next belongs to his teammate, Khris Middleton, who holds the franchise mark for most three-pointers made with 1,280 and counting.

"It might take me 20 years, but I'm gonna get it [the three record]," Giannis said in the locker room.

Incredible journey

When it comes to Giannis and basketball, the realm of the impossible doesn't exist. Despite not being highly acclaimed when he emerged from Europe, he has transformed himself into one of the finest players in the NBA. Khris Middleton, Antetokounmpo's teammate for his entire career so far, said it's incredible what Giannis has done a decade into his NBA career.

"It's great. Now he's got everything except for the 3-ball. He hates it when people say that. But it just shows his discipline every day, how seriously he takes his craft, and how he's never satisfied about what he's doing out there," Middleton said.

Can Giannis actually break Khris' record?

As of this writing, Giannis has made 503 out of the 1,761 three-pointers he's attempted. That's still a long way off from Khris' mark of 1,280 made threes. Giannis has only made 28 percent of his three-point attempts in his career, which means it may be a stretch to expect him to come close to Khris' record.

That said, Giannis may have to be content with having nearly every franchise mark except for the one.

"I'm sure he'll be No. 1 in everything in whatever statistic in the history of this team. I'm sure he'll reach that at some point as well. This is just another one," Damian Lillard said.
