A left Achilles tendinitis forced Khris Middleton to sit out on Sunday night, marking the fourth time he missed a game this season.

Per a report by Eric Nehm of the Athletic, there is no timetable for Middleton's return.

Milwaukee's next game will be on Tuesday, an In-Season Tournament duel against the Miami Heat.

Khris' return uncertain

It remains uncertain if Middleton will be able to suit up against the Heat.

"We'll see. We'll just keep evaluating him every day and he's getting daily treatment and we'll see how he feels each day," Griffin said.

Middleton left in the third quarter of the Bucks' 131-128 win over the Washington Wizards on Friday night. Griffin said then that Middleton was taken out as a precautionary measure after the veteran shooter felt tightness in the left Achilles tendon.

Settling for limited minutes so far

Before Sunday's game, the three-time All-Star had already missed three games due to right knee injury management. Middleton is still under a minute restriction following a knee surgery in the offseason.

For the season, Middleton is averaging 11.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in just 19.8 minutes of play per contest. Even though he has been playing limited minutes, Middleton has been giving the Bucks the needed lift, especially when he was able to crack some fourth-quarter minutes.

Despite not having Khris on Sunday, the Bucks were still able to overhaul a 26-point third-quarter deficit to beat the Blazers. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 33 points in the win, while Damian Lillard had 31.
