It's officially the end of an era as Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers have officially reached an agreement on a buyout that makes the former All-Star and NBA Champion a free agent.

It originally didn't appear that Love and the Cavs would part ways. Koby Altman even said shortly after the deadline that there were no plans for a buyout. However, we know now that wasn't the case.

Love will be one of the most sought-after names by Finals contenders in the buyout market. He has plenty of playoff experience and his ability to stretch the floor is something that many teams could use.

The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers were a couple of teams that popped up as early teams interested in bringing in K-Love but that seems to have shifted. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Miami Heat are the favorites to sign Love. However, before he will meet with the Philadelphia 76ers agrees to anything.

Ironically, the 76ers were the last team that the Cavs played before the news of the buyout become public. It was a pretty embarrassing loss for Cleveland too.

At this point, it doesn't matter where Kevin ends up because he's already established his legacy in Cleveland and will forever be known as one of the best players to play for the organization.

Love is guaranteed to get a warm welcome back the next time he's in town.
