You can just feel that basketball season is right around the corner and the hype for the NBA this season could be the highest in years. Before we know it the Cleveland Cavaliers will be back on the floor for another season!

The league announced on Tuesday when each team will play their in-season tournament games. Then on Thursday the rest of the regular season schedule was released.

Here are a few dates to make sure you mark on your calendar and tune in when they roll around:

October 31, 2023 - Playoff Rematch With Knicks

The Cavs will get a second look at last year's playoff opponent early on in the season. A Halloween matchup between Cleveland and New York is scheduled for October 31 which is just the fourth game of the regular season for the Cavs.

The first games between these two teams will be at Rocket Mortgage Field ouse, but it's part of a home-away back-to-back with the Knicks with the second game being played in New York on November 1.

This is guaranteed to be a highly talked about game being so early in the season.

November 25, 2023 - LeBron Is Coming Home

Anytime LeBron James is in town, all eyes will be on the city of Cleveland. The King and the Los Angeles Lakers will make their only trip to Northeast Ohio for a Saturday night matchup against the Cavs on November 25.

Yes, LeBron left Cleveland again. But this time it was after he brought the city their first championship in 52 years so he'll still get a warm welcome with probably a few jeers here and there too.

January 11 - Cavs Vs. Nets In Paris

Not all of the Cavs' regular season games will take place on the same continent. Cleveland and Brooklyn will travel to France at the beginning of January and play the Nets in Paris on the 11th.

This is a great opportunity for Cleveland, Brooklyn, and the NBA to expand their fan bases. French fans may be paying extra attention to this NBA season with rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama playing in his first season in the league too.

April 3-10 - Challenging Final Stretch

Training camps haven't even started, but yes I'm already talking about playoffs.

Let's say the Cavs are fighting for a spot in the playoffs, are trying to stay clear of the play in a tournament, or are looking to jump one seed for home-court advantage. The final stretch of the season won't make that any easier.

Cleveland starts the month of April on a four-game road trip that would take them to Utah, Phoenix, and Los Angeles (Clippers and Lakers). A lot can happen over the course of an NBA season, but all of those teams look like they'll be playoff teams as of today.
