WATCH: Donovan Mitchell Crosses Up Killian Hayes
The Cleveland Cavaliers needed to have a strong and fast start against the Detroit Pistons after a disappointing loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.
That's exactly what they get and it's no surprise that Donovan Mitchell was the one leading the charge. The Cavs ended the first quarter with a three-point lead over the Pistons and showcased what they can do when firing on all cylinders.
This included pulling off highlight plays such as this crossover that Spida pulled off:
What isn't shown here is the block that Evan Mobley had on James Wiseman on the other side of the floor that led to this play is possible.
Mitchell may be known more for his dunks and shooting, but that doesn't mean he can't cross over a defender from time to time.
