On Monday, the Boston Celtics took a 126-115 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Jrue Holiday registered 18 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in their Christmas Day match.

Holiday expressed his thoughts on the Celtics’ four-game road trip.

“I think as a team, we’re really in a groove. It was a great road trip that we had, 3-1. I wish we could have went 4-0 but we’ve been playing well.”

The Celtics’ entire starting lineup scored double-digits in points. Holiday praised his teammates’ offensive dominance against the Lakers.

“We play so fast and we can get out on the open court, where we have JB and JT working. You can get D-White down here or KP popping for a three. We just have so much fire power that we’re hard to stop.”

The Celtics guard also commented on guarding LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

“Just try to be a pest. They’re going to score and they’re going to get a lot of touches, volume shots. Just do your best to stay in front of them.”

Boston's next game is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 28, against the Detroit Pistons at TD Garden; tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. EST.
