Here are Three Interesting Prop Bets to Consider Ahead of Wednesday's Celtics-Cavaliers Clash
The Boston Celtics will be looking to get back in the win column Wednesday.
Boston had its three-game winning streak snapped Monday as it fell against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, 109-94. The Celtics -- without the services of Jaylen Brown -- came out flat Monday and started the game 1-for-12 from three-point range and never were able to fully get their footing.
Cleveland enters the tilt after winning its last contest Sunday when it took down the Toronto Raptors, 118-93. The Cavaliers had lost their two previous contests before Sunday against the Atlanta Hawks and Denver Nuggets.
Boston and Cleveland already have had two epic clashes this season that both finished in overtime victories for the Cavaliers so the Celtics will be looking to get revenge Wednesday night.
Here are three interesting prop bets to consider from Sports Illustrated Sportsbook ahead of Wednesday's Celtics-Cavaliers matchup:
Al Horford Over 8.5 Points Scored (-110)
The Boston big man has been in the zone lately. Horford has done most of his damage from long-range and has nailed eight three-pointers over his last two games alone. Horford has scored 11 points or more in four of his last five games and will look to continue the trend Wednesday as Boston looks to get back in the win column.
If you were to place a $110 bet on Horford to score over 8.5 points and does so, the payout would be $100.
Total Points Scored Over 218.5 (-110)
The Celtics and Cavaliers have had some intriguing duels already this season. Both previous contests went to overtime and were extremely high-scoring affairs. The Celtics and Cavaliers combined to score 255 points in their first meeting and 227 in their second matchup.
Although it may not be likely that the two sides reach overtime again, Boston and Cleveland likely will put up plenty of points Wednesday night.
Robert Williams Under 8.5 Rebounds (-110)
The Boston big man has shined since returning to the Celtics' lineup but has failed to reach nine rebounds in each of his last four games played. The Cavaliers have some solid big men of their own in Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley so it may not be the best night for rebounding for Williams.
While it's very possible that he can top 8.5 rebounds, if you were to place a $110 wager down on him to hit the under the payout would be $100.
