Jaylen Brown Reacts to Historic Run Against Miami Heat in Eastern Conference Finals
The Boston Celtics are on the verge of making history. They are one win away from being the first NBA team to overcome a 3-0 deficit.
The latest game of their Eastern Conference Finals series with the Miami Heat, Game 6, proved to be a classic. With 0.1 seconds remaining, Derrick White got off a put-back shot to elevate the Celtics to a 104-103 victory.
Jaylen Brown was another key factor in Boston’s third-straight win of the series. The Georgia native registered 26 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.
At a postgame press conference, Brown reacted to the Celtics’ historic performance.
“It gives you a supreme boost in confidence, man,” said Brown, as captured by NBC Sports Boston. “It doesn’t get too much worse than being down 0-3. We feel like we’ve been to hell and back. We feel like we can face any adversity that gets thrown at us in the duration of the game or the duration of the season or in the postseason. It all means nothing if we don’t come out and give our best effort on our home floor on Monday night.”
Game 7 of the Celtics-Heat series is set for Monday night at 8:30 p.m. EST.
