The Hawks went to South Beach and emerged with a 116-105 play-in tournament win, propelling them to a first-round series against the Celtics. Miami scored the game's first basket and did not lead again.

Boston swept the season series against Atlanta 3-0. That includes two wins after Quin Snyder replaced Nate McMillan. Granted, one of those was Sunday's regular-season finale, where both sides rested most of their top-rotation players.

Game 1 between the Celtics, the second seed in the East, and the seventh-seeded Hawks is Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at TD Garden.

Now, the NBA has announced the full series schedule.

Having two days between Games 1 and 2, the latter taking place Tuesday, despite not having to travel, will help both teams recharge. Once the series heads to Atlanta, there's one day between matchups, regardless of travel and how long this best-of-seven lasts.
