Clippers Player Opens Up About Possibly Wanting Trade

The LA Clippers are rolling right now winning 10 of their last 13 games, but not everyone on the team is happy. Currently, multiple players are out of the rotation, including championship veteran P.J. Tucker.
In an interview with Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints, P.J. Tucker opened up about possibly wanting a trade from the Clippers and also his role with the team.
“I don't have a role on this team right now," Tucker said to Azarly. "I'm not playing. I'm out of the lineup. It was a decision that was made, and I'm living with it right now. But obviously, I feel like I still got a lot to contribute to a team to be able to win, whether that's here or somewhere else. And here, it's just not there right now. So I want to do what I can do.”
When it comes to having a role in the future, Tucker still definitely sees one with the LA Clippers. However, if the team doesn't have one for him, he's very ready to accept it and move on.
“I mean, yeah," Tucker said to Azarly. "I mean, obviously. Coming here, you try to figure out the best way possible to be able to do what you do. But, you know, like I said, sometimes you see it and it ain't there. Sometimes you see it, but the team doesn't see it the way you see it.”
In all honesty, if the Clippers can get some youth and athleticism for Tucker, that may be a move they have to make. He can have some utility in the playoffs for the team, but the lineups with him in it have been far too poor all season. At some point, a compromise will have to be made by both sides.
