Clippers Player Reveals Untold Russell Westbrook Story

Russell Westbrook is oftentimes cited as one of the best teammates in the NBA. All of his former teammates seem to have numerous untold stories explaining their reasoning, with Ivica Zubac being the latest to reveal one.
On the newest episode of Podcast P, Ivica Zubac revealed an untold Russell Westbrook story, one that showed how selfless of a teammate Westbrook is.
"There was some game he passed me the ball," Zubac said. "I could have shot my hook. I passed it out, he got mad at me. I made a good play, but like really I should have shot it. He was like, 'I want you to take that shot every single time. You miss five shots, I don't care. You gotta shoot that shot every time. You're not getting a lot of touches, PG, Kawhi, me, we're gonna get ours. You gotta take your shot.' When a guy like that tells you that stuff, like, you gotta take it seriously."

There aren't many Hall of Fame-level NBA players who are willing to give the type of advice that Russell Westbrook gave Ivica Zubac. The Clippers are an incredibly loaded team filled with four different Hall of Fame-caliber players, a team where the star players already have to sacrifice and learn how to play with each other. For Russell Westbrook to care about the 5th man on the team when there are already four main heads to feed, should not be overlooked.
The Clippers play like a team that loves playing together and with the perfect amount of sacrifice. It's because of the mindset of players like Russell Westbrook on the team that makes this possible, and the results show on the court.
