Former NBA All-Star Believes James Harden Should Come Off Bench

Should James Harden come off the bench?

The LA Clippers have a starting lineup problem - it doesn't work. After a four-game sample size, it's starting to become very clear that Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook can't play together. One former NBA All-Star believes that one of those starters should be benched.

Isaiah Thomas went on Twitter where he stated that James Harden should be the one to come off the bench for the Clippers. After that, they could potentially try getting him back with the starters later in the regular season.

"JH should come off the bench," Isaiah Thomas said. "Let that first unit keep the rhythm & flow & get to it in the 2nd unit. Then later in the season maybe see if it works with the starters. Right now everybody playing like a shell of themselves cuz they tryna get use to his style of play."

Many are suggesting that Russell Westbrook should be the one to come off the bench because Harden is a better ball-handler than him. It's hard to say which one should come off the bench, but one of the two has to do it. It shouldn't be looked at as a benching either, it should be looked at as the "sacrifice" so many on the team kept preaching about. If the Clippers want to win, then they have to actually sacrifice, because right now, it's not working.
