Injury Report: LA Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs
The LA Clippers and San Antonio Spurs will face off in what will be an incredibly hyped battle because of the Los Angeles debut of Victor Wembanyama. It'll be a battle of the Spurs' past in Kawhi Leonard against the Spurs' future. Fortunately, it's a relatively healthy one, too.
The Clippers have three players listed on their injury report: Brandon Boston, Terance Mann, and Marcus Morris. Brandon Boston is out due to left quadriceps tendinopathy, Terance Mann is out due to a left ankle sprain, and Marcus Morris is out due to a coach's decision. Terance Mann is the biggest name on this injury report for the Clippers and was slated to be a starter before his injury occurred.
The San Antonio Spurs have three players listed on their injury report: Charles Bediako, Sidy Cissoko, and Sir'Jabari Rice. All three players are on G League assignment and the team has no real injuries occurring right now. Similar to the Utah Jazz last game, it's a very rare instance of a team having a fully clean injury report.
It's going to be very interesting to see how the Clippers handle Victor Wembanyama tonight. They have multiple forwards in Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Robert Covington that they could stick on the perimeter, but his shooting capabilities will definitely be difficult for the more traditional centers of Ivica Zubac and Mason Plumlee. It's going to take a total team effort by the Clippers to shut him down.
The LA Clippers and San Antonio Spurs face off tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST.
