With an impressive Game 1 performance vs. the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum joined some elite company. With his 6th career postseason game with at least 30 points and 10 rebounds, Tatum became one of just 12 active players with that many playoff games of at least 30 points and 10 rebounds.

Tatum tied LA Clippers star Paul George for the 12th most playoff games with at least 30 points and 10 rebounds amongst active players, as both have exactly six such games. George is a big fan of Tatum, and shared high praise for the Celtics star earlier this season, endorsing him for league MVP:

"What Tatum is doing is impressive," George said. "Young guy, went to the Finals last year, he could have very well been satisfied with that. He's gotten better though, his game has gotten better, and he's confident with who he is as a player in this league now, and it's showing. 40 balls, 50 balls, like he is going crazy. What is Boston? First in the east? You've gotta give it to Tatum, what he's doing is incredible. That team, people didn't think that team was gonna get back to where they're at. They didn't think they'd be that successful last year, and what they're doing now, Tatum is my favorite in the MVP race."

Still just 25 years old, Tatum is already one of the best players in the NBA. Tying Paul George on an impressive playoff list, Tatum will likely climb even further as the playoffs continue.
