Paul George Believes Jayson Tatum is NBA MVP
Paul George and Jayson Tatum are two players that always end up getting compared together. At first, it definitely felt like George was better than Tatum, but now, Tatum has definitely taken a huge step this season - George agrees that Tatum has evolved.
On the newest episode of the "Podcast P" podcast, Paul George revealed why he believes Jayson Tatum is the NBA MVP this season.
"What Tatum is doing is impressive," George said. "Young guy, went to the finals last year, he could have very well satisfied with that. He's gotten better though, his game has gotten better, and he's confident with who he is as a player in this league now, and it's showing. 40 balls, 50 balls, like he is going crazy. What is Boston? First in the east? You've gotta give it to Tatum, what he's doing is incredible. That team, people didn't think that team was gonna get back to where they're at. They didn't think they'd be that successful last year, and what they're doing now, Tatum is my favorite in the MVP race. He's so young."
It's safe to say that Paul George is a big fan of Jayson Tatum and his game. It's good to see that there's no bitterness between the two, despite how much they're always compared together. While Nikola Jokic is definitely the favorite to win the NBA MVP right now, Tatum also deserves consideration.
