Kawhi Leonard's Status for Clippers vs Lakers Revealed

Kawhi Leonard's official status for Clippers vs Lakers has been revealed

The LA Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers face off in the most important game of the season for both teams. It's one that will likely keep one team out of the play-in picture, and put the other one back in.

Fortunately for the LA Clippers, it looks like their best player, Kawhi Leonard, will play in the game - he is listed as available. The Clippers' injury report has revealed that Kawhi Leonard is available against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, Paul George will still be missing due to a knee sprain, and will likely be out during the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

The Los Angeles Lakers have yet to reveal their own injury report, stating that both LeBron James and Anthony Davis have to be re-evaluated tomorrow morning. Expect both players to play in the massive game, but it is also a back-to-back for the Lakers after an overtime game on the road. It's also the fourth game in six nights for the Lakers.

In the last eight games, Kawhi Leonard is averaging 24.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.8 steals, on 52/41/86 shooting. His numbers are far worse against the Lakers, but they're from very early on in the season when he was still playing into shape after tearing his ACL. In two games against the Lakers, Leonard is averaging 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4,0 assists, and 1.5 steals on 60/12/67 shooting.

Without Paul George on the floor, Kawhi Leonard will need to put up at least 30 points against the Lakers on Wednesday. It's a must-win game, where nothing should be left on the floor.
