The LA Clippers are finishing their preseason schedule on Thursday night vs. the Denver Nuggets, and Kawhi Leonard will sit this one out along with Paul George and Russell Westbrook. As teams often choose to do, the Clippers will use this preseason finale to get a look at some of their younger players who have not played as much up until this point.

This is the approach the Nuggets took when they played the Clippers on Tuesday, and now it will be the Clippers resting their regulars. There is never much to take away from the preseason, but this is still a great opportunity for a lot of players. While the Clippers could use the additional reps, maintaining health is always the top priority for this team, which is likely why they decided to rest their regulars in the preseason finale.

For Denver, it's unclear how much they plan to play their rotation players in this game, as they presumably don't have too much to work through at this point. That said, there have been some changes to Denver's rotation this offseason, so they could use this game as an opportunity to iron some of that out.

After this game the Clippers will host several practices before opening their regular season against Scoot Henderson and the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, October 25th.
