In an Instagram post earlier this week, LA Clippers guard Bones Hyland shared the release of his new rap song. Hyland's new song "Skarred" is one of several he has released under the rap name "Bizzy."

Hyland released his first rap album in 2020, and his since released two others. This latest song was a single, and the cover art features a picture of Hyland in his Clippers jersey walking through the tunnel after a game.

Acquired by the Clippers from the Denver Nuggets at last season's trade deadline, Hyland provided LA with some much needed pace and playmaking off the bench. While Hyland was behind some veteran guards in the rotation last season, he figures to have a consistent role next year as a primary ball handler off the bench.

Working hard on his game this offseason, Hyland has also been in the studio working on his music. The young guard joins NBA players like Damian Lillard, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Clarke, and others who also make music.

An energetic young player, Hyland brought a ton of life to the Clippers on and off the court last season. With an older roster, the Clippers needed Hyland's energy, and will benefit from a full season of it this year. Just a few weeks away from training camp, Hyland is getting some music out for his fans before getting back to work.
