The Charlotte Hornets are in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to face the LA Clippers, but they will not have star guard LaMelo Ball. Per Charlotte's injury report, Ball is out for this game with a right ankle sprain. Ankle issues have plagued Ball throughout his career, and this is another unfortunate situation for the young guard.

The Hornets are bad even with Ball, but they are of course much less talented without him. The Clippers are hoping to end a two-game skid in this one, having won nine-straight games prior to this mini losing streak.

Kawhi Leonard has missed the last two games for LA, and is being listed as questionable for this game. It is unclear if Leonard is more likely to play or more likely to miss another game in this one, but as of right now his status is officially questionable.

This game is a good opportunity for the Clippers to get back on track, because even if Leonard cannot go, the Hornets are a team LA should take care of. This is especially the case with Ball out, as the 7-20 Hornets are not an opponent that should be giving the Clippers trouble.

All of that said, the Clippers do have some bad losses on their record this season, and cannot overlook any opponent as they work to build good habits.
