LeBron James' Injury Status for Clippers vs. Lakers Revealed
The Los Angeles Lakers have released their injury report for Tuesday night's game vs. the LA Clippers, and LeBron James has been ruled out. James has been on the injury report for weeks with an ankle injury, and while he has typically played despite being listed, he has officially been ruled out for this game.
James has played very well against the Clippers this season, which has been a bit of a change from recent years. While James has never struggled mightily against the Clippers, his numbers against them in recent seasons have typically been down from his averages against the rest of the league. That has not been the case this season, as James' dominance in games against the Clippers have helped the Lakers jump out to a 2-0 lead in the season series vs. their hallway rivals.
With this being a nationally televised game, it's unfortunate that James will not suit up. That said, there will still be plenty of star power in this game between Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis.
The Clippers will look to take advantage of James' absence and get their first win over the Lakers this season. One of the hottest teams in basketball, the Clippers have to avoid a letdown in this game after their comeback win over the Brooklyn Nets.
