When Patrick Beverley was traded from the Houston Rockets to the LA Clippers, he came over with forward Sam Dekker. During a recent episode of his podcast, Beverley revealed an incredible story about the time he entered the Clippers practice facility, and Dekker was in there with NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

"I come in the gym, I'm with the Clippers," Beverley said. "Sam Dekker was part of the Houston Rockets trade with me, we all go to the Clippers. I come in late night with the Clippers, I wanna get some shots up. I walk in [the facility], I see a man that looks familiar. I'm like, I know this man. Come a little closer - Aaron Rodgers... Aaron Rodgers was at half court shooting the basketball, but like in a football way, throwing it. He's hitting back rim every single time. Every time."

Beverley described Rodgers throwing the basketball from half hour like it was a football, and having every single throw either hit the rim or go in. It was something that Beverley was in awe of, seeing the precision of one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.

Rodgers was with the Green Bay Packers at that time, which is where the connection with Dekker stemmed from. Now with the New York Jets, Rodgers is unfortunately sidelined due to injury, but is motivated to attack his rehab.
