Paul George was a questionable game-time decision entering tonight's game against the Golden State Warriors. A little under two hours before tipoff, it's been revealed that Paul George will be out due to left hip soreness.

George had sustained the injury in the first half against the Sacramento Kings. It was initially diagnosed as left groin soreness, and he missed the entire second half against the Kings. There was some encouraging news as it wasn't described as too serious.

Clippers head coach Ty Lue revealed that George did participate in some capacity during shootaround and that he'd be day-to-day with the injury.

A big reason why the Clippers traded for James Harden was for moments like these. Having a big-three starting lineup should alleviate Kawhi Leonard and the entire team, but that's all contingent on James Harden stepping up. Tonight will actually be the very first time that Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden won't be starting all together - it will be the first time it's just Kawhi Leonard and James Harden are starting together.

For the past two weeks, the LA Clippers have looked like the best team in the Western Conference. They're undefeated in the month of December with a 5-0 record, but that was with all three players available. It's going to be very interesting to see how the team looks with just Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook. Hopefully, the injury doesn't last too long.
