Adding four more triple-doubles last season to his already NBA record total, veteran point guard Russell Westbrook moved closer to an unprecedented milestone. Now with 198 career triple-doubles, Westbrook is just two away from becoming the first player in NBA history with 200 career triple-doubles.

While many of Westbrook's NBA records are triple-double related, this is not the only piece of history he can make next season. Entering the 2023-24 season with 24,457 career points and 7,964 career rebounds, Westbrook will likely reach both 25,000 points and 8,000 career rebounds next season. If he hits these marks, Westbrook will join LeBron James as the only other player in NBA history with at least 25,000 points, 9,000 assists, and 8,000 rebounds.

While James if of course the only player in NBA history with 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 10,000 assists, the Lakers star being the only other player in NBA history with Westbrook's statistical totals shows just how great of a career it's been for the 2017 league MVP.

While Westbrook is much more focused on helping the Clippers win than he is his individual numbers, these are still some really fun milestones to watch for as the future Hall-of-Fame point guard enters his 16th NBA season. Already one of the greatest to ever do it, Westbrook can put himself even further into history next season.
