Russell Westbrook Gives Amazing Gift to NBA Fan

Russell Westbrook made one young fan's year.

Russell Westbrook is one of the most beloved players in the NBA, and it's not by accident. Very few players treat their fans as well as Westbrook and his actions on Tuesday illustrate that perfectly.

There was a young fan at the Clippers vs Jazz game in Seattle wearing four of Westbrook's jerseys in the crowd. The moment Westbrook saw the fan, he decided to autograph a jersey and give him one more for the collection.

"When you travel the world and you're able to go to arenas and you're able to see dedicated and true fans, especially at his age, I'm grateful for that," Westbrook said. "I don't take any of the people that support me for granted. To be able to see that was exciting. I just felt like he should get another jersey, and I gave him mine. I'm grateful for fans like that little young kid."

It was a moment that meant the world to the young fan who was attending his first basketball game ever. These are the moments that make someone a fan's favorite player. The moments where the game means more than just the game. In an era where the most popular players no longer play every single regular season game and disappoint the fans who pay money to see them, it's still heartwarming to know some players will always reward their fanbase.
