Before facing the LA Clippers on Wednesday night, Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic was asked about Kawhi Leonard, and gave a great answer about what the superstar forward and his teammates have going right now.

"The Clippers, they constructed this team to compete for a championship," Rajakovic said. "If this team is healthy, all analytical numbers are showing they're on the verge to make a historic season. If they stay healthy, they're gonna have really, really good chances in the playoffs to win it all. Kawhi obviously is a big part of that. He did it before. He did it with different organizations, and he knows what winning is about. But also, he has the help of his team with another three Hall-of-Famers. All of those guys, they're at the stage of their career that they know what's at stake, and they want to maximize any opportunity that they have."

This was high praise from the Raptors coach, getting honest about not only what Leonard provides, but what his teammates are doing around him. The Clippers are building something special right now, and are looking to make franchise history before moving into their brand new arena next season.

If Leonard and the rest of LA's stars stay healthy, Rajakovic believes this could be the year history is made for the Clippers' organization.
