Updated LA Clippers vs Utah Jazz Injury Report
The LA Clippers and Utah Jazz face off in a preseason rematch tonight, but the Clippers have added a new player to their injury report.
Norman Powell has been downgraded to out for tonight's game against the Utah Jazz. Clippers head coach Ty Lue didn't specify the reason for Powell's absence, but he mentioned that it wasn't just rest. In addition to Powell, Marcus Morris Sr. has been downgraded to out (groin), and Brandon Boston Jr. has been downgraded to out (knee). Joshua Primo still remains out due to his suspension. Nicolas Batum is listed as day-to-day, but fans should expect him to play given Ty Lue's statements on Sunday.
The Utah Jazz have not made any changes to their injury report since yesterday. Johnny Juzang remains day-to-day, and Joey Hauser remains day-to-day. Neither played played on Sunday against the LA Clippers.
Given the current injury report, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and Lauri Markkanen will all be available to play tonight. None of those mentioned players played more than 20 minutes on Sunday night, and fans should expect the same tonight. Kawhi Leonard played 14 minutes, Paul George played 15 minutes, and Lauri Markkanen played 18 minutes. Even though Russell Westbrook did not play on Sunday in Hawaii, expect his minutes to be somewhere around the same.
The LA Clippers and Utah Jazz face off tonight at 7:00 pm PST.
