Anthony Davis' Injury Status for Lakers vs Grizzlies Game 4 Revealed
Anthony Davis is a problem for the Memphis Grizzlies. Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, the Los Angeles Lakers have officially listed him as probable for Game 4.
In Game 3, Anthony Davis absolutely destroyed the Grizzlies. He put up 31 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals on 46% shooting. It was especially important for Davis to prove his dominance after the horrible Game 2 performance he had in Memphis.
As mentioned in other articles, Anthony Davis is the x-factor of this series. Who wins and loses games will likely be determined by the performance Anthony Davis has on both ends of the floor. A successful Anthony Davis game means that the Grizzlies will likely miss out on a plethora of rebounds, and can't get easy shots at the basket. His presence really emphasizes just how much the team truly misses Steven Adams in this matchup.
The Grizzlies had the worst start possible in Game 3 and even gave the Lakers a historic first-quarter lead. Despite that, the Memphis Grizzlies found a way to push the game into single digits by the end of the fourth quarter. For that reason alone, all is not lost for Game 4. While it feels like the Lakers have "figured out" the Memphis Grizzlies, anything can still happen in Game 4. The key to it all is the Grizzlies playing smarter basketball.
