Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard recently shared his thoughts on Ja Morant's latest gun video incident. Speaking on the Grizzlies star, Lillard said the following:

"The only thing I'll say is - all I'm gonna say is, I just don't judge. You don't know why people do what they do. What people are going through, what type of state they've been in. You never know. I ain't attached to it, so I don't - I mean, it's unfortunate. We got the platform we got, he got the platform he got, there be consequences. It's what we signed up for, so it's a standard and expectation."

Lillard urged people not to judge Morant, because they do not know what he is going through; however, he did make sure to acknowledge that there are greater consequences for NBA stars, which is something they signed up for. Ja Morant has a major platform, as does Damian Lillard, which is something that comes with being a star in the NBA.

While Lillard does not want anybody judging Morant, he does recognize the platform that the Grizzlies star has, and how consequences come with that. It seems as if most people just want Morant to learn from these last two mistakes, and understand that there is a certain standard for stars like himself. Lillard knows that's the case, but doesn't want people judging Morant either.
