Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons has had a rough couple years. After facilitating a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers, Simmons has yet to find consistency with his new team, but feels ready to make a comeback next season. During a recent episode of Gil's Arena, former NBA star Gilbert Arenas sent a message to Simmons about exactly what the Nets guard should do next season.

"I personally would tell him, keep driving until somebody actually stops you," Arenas said. "Until someone makes you change directions, I need your foot in the paint on every fast break. You taking the ball to the paint every - you're 6'11", athletic, we don't even know if you're right handed or left handed... You can pass, so it's like, let someone stop you. I need two feet in the paint. And from there, if he's going to the paint every single time, then he's gonna realize how close he is."

Arenas, who opened up about some of the mental battles he fought before joining the Memphis Grizzlies, resonated with some of the issues Simmons has been going through. Wanting to see the best for the Nets guard, Arenas shared exactly what he wants to see Simmons do next season to regain the form he had early in his career.

Ready for a comeback, Simmons has a lot of supporters behind him.
