It's a statement that's been said before, but somehow keeps getting worse - the Memphis Grizzlies will be incredibly shorthanded tonight. The Grizzlies face off against the Utah Jazz in a game that will be an uphill battle for Memphis.

The Memphis Grizzlies have a whopping 9 players listed on their injury report: Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, GG Jackson, John Konchar, Jake LaRavia, Ja Morant, Derrick Rose, Xavier Tillman, and Ziaire Williams.

Steven Adams is out with right knee PCL surgery, Brandon Clarke is out with recovery from left Achilles tendon surgery, GG Jackson is out on a G League two-way, John Konchar is questionable with a right hip strain, Jake LaRavia is doubtful with a left great toe contusion, Ja Morant is out with a league suspension, Derrick Rose is out with left knee injury recovery, Xavier Tillman is out with left knee injury recovery, and Ziaire Williams is questionable with a left hip strain.

The Utah Jazz has 6 players listed on their injury report, but most of them are due to the G League. Josh Christopher, Taylor Hendricks, Johnny Juzang, Micah Potter, and Bruce Sensabaugh are all out due to being in the G League. The only actual injured player is Walker Kessler, who is out due to a left elbow sprain.

The Memphis Grizzlies finally have a win on the board, but they're still dead last in the Western Conference. If they win tonight against the Jazz, they'll actually have a better record than them.

The Grizzlies and the Jazz face off tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST.
