In a post on his Instagram story on Friday, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant announced that he is now on TikTok. In the Instagram story post, Morant shared a link to his new TikTok account, and told his Instagram followers to follow that page in order to catch all of the Nike Ja 1 drops, along with other exciting content:

Already active on Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter), albeit less than he was prior to his Instagram live incidents, Morant has now branched out to TikTok. While the Grizzlies star has been taking some more time away from social media since his second gun video incident that occurred during an Instagram live session, the point guard does have a large following that he wants to continue connecting with.

Social media can be a great platform for athletes like Morant to engage with fans, and while a lot of attention has understandably been placed on Morant's poor usage of social media in the past, he has generated a lot of positivity on his platforms as well.

Doing a lot of exciting things with his Ja 1 shoes and other unique collaborations, Morant wants to share that with as many people as possible, which is why he has now branched out to TikTok. The link to his new social media account can be found here.
